Terms of Service

Welcome to Friendo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Friendo application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Friendo. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Friendo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Scrape, data-mine, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

4. Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Friendo (such as group names, event descriptions, and profile information). By submitting content, you grant Friendo a limited license to use, display, and transmit it solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem objectionable, at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

The Friendo name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos are the property of Friendo. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRIENDO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Friendo operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
